James (Browne) Crichton-Browne FRS FRSE is Notable.
Sir James Crichton-Browne MD FRS FRSE was a leading Scottish psychiatrist, neurologist and eugenicist.
- Sir James Crichton-Browne 1840-1938) was the son of Dr William Alexander Francis Browne and Magdalene Howden Balfour Browne.
- He married firstly Emily, daughter of Dr. John Halliday of Seacombe, near Liverpool on the 11th of September 1865 in St. Philips Church, Liverpool, Lancashire.
- Emily died on the 8 th of September 1903 at Blankenberghe, Belgium.
