Rufus was born about 1886 in Winston, Mississippi, the son of Harges Bell and Sallie Choctaw. Rufus passed away 7 Jan 1914 in Love, Oklahoma. He is buried at the McAlister Cemetery, Carter County, Oklahoma.[2]
