Mary Ann Bell was born on 7 Mar 1823 ^[1] in Yarmouth, England. ^[2]

Mary Ann married James Dixon around 1845-6 - probably in Canada (there's no English marriage registration for a James Dickson or Dixon and a Mary Bell).

Research Notes

The eldest child Henry attached as James and Mary Ann's son in the FamilySearch tree almost certainly doesn't belong in this family - in addition to not being with James and Mary Ann in 1851 when he would have been quite young still, see note on Henry's FamilySearch tree entry.
