Biography
Philip Bell, 2nd son of [Sir] Edmund Bell [MP], by his 1st wife Anne Osborne, was baptized on 18th June 1590 at South Acre, Norfolk, England.[1]
Philip Bell was the governor of three different Colonies, Bermuda, Providence Island and Barbados.[2][3]
Seems to have married the daughter of one Daniel Elfrith, a pirate. Aaarr.

I am working on profiles of the early settlers of Bermuda or historically significant Bermudians for the Bermuda Project, a sub-project of the UK Project. I saw this profile and didn't think it was for Capt./Gov. Phillip Bell, because the dates were so far off. On second look I realize this is probably the profile for the Gov. I am adding project protection for this profile and as well as the project Template. The profile will also be clean-up (if needed) and sources added.
AND merging the duplicate I made into this one.
