Biography

Benjamin Beall was born on March 5, 1809 in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. He married Caroline Middleton on February 13, 1838 in Washington, District of Columbia, United States,[1]and they had a daughter, Caroline who died in 1849 at the age of six.
His wife, Caroline died in 1843 after a short illness; he then married Susan A. whose maiden name is unknown. and they had four children.
He was in business in Washington D.C with his brother-in-law Benjamin Franklin Middleton, transacting business as " Middleton and Beall ”, wholesale and retail grocers. Their place of business was on the south side of Pennsylvania Avenue.
