On 9 Nov 1747, Sarah signed the guardianship bond for their younger surviving son, James.[5] On 7 Aug 1749, not long after Sarah's marriage to Timothy Tuttle, her elder son, Daniel, was appointed guardian of James "Hummiston" in her place.[6]
On 28 Jun 1749, in Wallingford, Sarah married Deacon Timothy Tuttle as his third wife.[7] No children were born to her second marriage.
After Deacon Timothy Tuttle died in 1759, Sarah continued to live in Wallingford, where she died on 28 May 1761.[8]
