Biography
Robert Watters Anderson Jr was born on 21 Aug 1924 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, son of Robert Watters Anderson and Anna Hall Hopple.
The 1930 Census[1] shows him at age 5 in the home of his parents in Wyoming Village, Springfield Township, Hamilton County, Ohio. He attended school within the census year.
The 1940 Census[2] shows him at age 15 in the home of his parents in Wyoming, Springfield Township, Hamilton County, Ohio.
Robert Anderson Jr. served in the United States of America during World War II.
He served during World War II.
He married Elizabeth "Betty" Evans on 18 Aug 1951 in Springfield, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.[3] They had several children.
Robert was recorded as a resident on 1 Jun 1995 in Wyoming, Hamilton County, Ohio.[4]
Robert died on 26 Feb 2009 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, and is buried at the Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.[5] Excerpted from his obituary: [6]
ANDERSON, Robert W., Jr., beloved husband of Elizabeth Evans Anderson; loving father (hidden for privacy) devoted grandfather (hidden for privacy) dear brother of William (Jean) Anderson and Sarah Wollin. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Son of the late Robert W. and Ann Hopple Anderson. February 26, 2009. Age 84. Bob was a long time resident of Wyoming, a graduate of Wyoming High School, and the College of Wooster. He was a decorated WWII veteran and an executive of the Stearns & Foster Company for over 30 years. [6]
